- We are excited to bring this brand new event to Brighton with a flat and fast 10 mile route plus the newly added FREE Foundation 5K! Note that entries for the 5k will be done via a ballot.

THE ROUTE
The route heads out along Madeira Drive for a flat first mile before turning inland to loop around The Level. From here the course returns down to the sea front for a stretch along Kingsway road. At 6miles you’ll then circuit Hove Lagoon to start the return journey.
You will follow the very scenic Promenade in a straight route back whilst overlooking Brighton Pier and the pebbled beaches as you head into the finish, maybe ending with a dip in the sea!
ABOUT THE FREE 5K
The FREE Foundation 5K hosted by The RunThrough Foundation is designed to inspire first-time runners and increase diversity in running, following the success of previous free events like the Warrington Running Festival in 2023 and the LONDON TEN in 2024. With a focus on accessibility, we aim to break down barriers and encourage a more active, healthy nation. Apply to the ballot now for your chance to be part of this special event!
Entry into the ballot is not a guarantee of your place and we will contact you after each round of the ballot to confirm if you have been successful. If unsuccessful in any round of the ballot you will automatically be entered into the next round of the ballot.
